About the Simulator

The flight sim is configured using three 65 inch 4K TV's and two 24 inch touch screen monitors with Altimeter Motive's G5 panel or when removed, Air Manager and knobsters for both touch screens in multiple configurations. The 65 inch TV's are mounted on a Next Level Racing monitor stand. The front TV runs in 4K and the two side TVs run in 3K, with the two touchscreens operating at 1080p using a USB to dual DVI adapter all on one computer. The computer runs with a 14900K Gen 14 Intel CPU, 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4090 GPU for graphics. The 24 inch touchscreen monitors (instrument panels with Air Manager and sometimes fitted with hardware panels from Altimiter Motives) are mounted on a modifed Flight Stand Pro from Next Level Racing. Flight controls include Virpil Throttles, Constellation Alpha Prime Joystick on a warbird base and Thrustmaster TPR pedals. The flight controls are mounted using magnets on the base and steel plates on seat supports from Monster Tech or Sim Fab. Other sim accessories include a 32 key Stream Deck, computer touch pad, a Flight Sounds Ltd. DualPro – GA flight sim intercom, Sierra ANR aviation headset and a ButtKicker Gamer Plus haptic device. I have recently purchased a GMC 710 autopilot and the WinWing Airbus FCU.

NOTE

I use magnet mounts on flight controls for flexibility and adaptability in my Sim. While I have not specifically seen where magnetic base mounts are recommended or discouraged by manufactures and I have not experienced any performance issues personally, I would caution to use at your risk.
